Open house will be on Saturday, June 20, 2026 from 1-3pm at Cumming First United Methodist Church: 770 Canton Hwy Cumming, GA 30040
Drop in anytime within those 2 hours. Campers and camper parents will see where their home unit is for camp week, tour the camp and meet their CATs and adult volunteers.
At open house you will receive your camp t-shirts, camp badge, and carpool tags. Our First Aide person will collect any outstanding health forms and allergy plans.

No — Camp Can Do is a day camp that runs one week per year from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
Aftercare is available until 5:30 PM for an additional fee.

Yes — badge work is part of our program and campers will work toward earning badges during the week. Programming details are shared in the spring.
Parents and/or leaders are responsible for providing badges after camp.

All activities are conducted under Girl Scouts of the USA safety standards, and volunteers are trained to support a safe environment for all campers.
What happens if weather affects activities?
Activities are adjusted as needed for weather to keep campers safe and comfortable. We monitor conditions and make decisions based on best practices and safety guidelines. (Typical council camp FAQ protocols.)
Campers are encouraged to unplug and engage fully in activities. Phones or devices that enable calls/texting should stay at home. (Similar to general Girl Scout camp policies.)
